Introduction:
We started the class looking and the brain, and we are going to END looking at the brain. This time, specifically, how the brain works with technology. What do you think - as a teacher, parent, or society member what is your opinion on the way the brain interacts with technology?

Task:
Create a Voice Thread on the pertinent issue that you think we ought to consider when thinking about technology and the brain.

Process

Review the learning that you have done in this class. You may even want to look at your notes from past assignments. Then, you will want to read the resource articles below. They are not long. After, create a voice thread to discuss your pertinent issue. Below are guidelines in the steps.

Steps

  1. Go over the readings/writings/reflections below & those that you have done.
  2. Determine the Pertinent issue for you
  3. Design your voice thread
  • About 6 slides
  • Find images to reflect your content - or use words
  • Write a beginning, middle & end
  • IDEAS:
    • Start with a quote
    • Personal Experience
    • Critique - " It is doubtful that..." "In the scope of ..."
    • Question - "I wonder" ... "Have you ever"...
    • Define yourself - make sure that your perspective is clear... philosopher, parent, educator, society member, designer, gamer, presenter, sibling etc...
    • Conclude.
    • Make sure that you give VERBAL or WRITTEN credit to whomever you are critiquing or using as a reference.
Next week, we will COMMENT on each others threads!
